Police Staff Pay Bulletin 1 – 9 August 2021
The Police Staff Council Employers want to impose the government’s public sector pay freeze on police staff in England and Wales in 2021. This would mean:
- £250 increase for police staff earning up to £24,000 (basic pay)
- No increase for police staff earning over £24,000 (basic pay)
- No increase in standby allowance, or overnight allowance
Please make sure you read UNISON’s Police Staff Pay Bulletin before you vote. Police Staff Pay Bulletin 1 – 9 August 2021
UNISON’s Police Staff Committee strongly recommends that members vote to REJECT the pay freeze and show that you would be prepared to vote for industrial action in a future ballot to support our claim for a 3% pay rise for police staff this year.
1. ACCEPT the deal as detailed
2. REJECT the final pay offer for 2021. By doing this you are willing to take industrial action, up to and including strike action, in support of the claim.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT AN INDUSTRIAL ACTION BALLOT
THE PAY OFFER VOTE HAS NOW FINISHED.
